    Our US Financial Client is a provider of banking, mortgage, investing, credit card, insurance, and consumer and commercial financial services. Within their Wholesale Banking business unit (“Wholesale”) they required our consultancy services for migrating their wholesale trading floor location in Charlotte, NC.

    The Challenge


    The design was required to accommodate 1,200 Traders and 1,000 support positions within approximately 350,000 sq ft of space, this included:

    • Upgrade and fit-out of three floors for their new premises (240K SF)
    • Reconfiguration on another two floors
    • Relocation of 1,440 – 1,600 Wholesale Full-time Employees and another 1140 Full-time Employees to various locations

    The Result


    We have extensive industry expertise in similar projects of this scale and complexity and utilize this experience during the lifecycle of the project to ensure the migration is timely, cost-efficient with minimal disruption to the client’s business lines.

    In addition, the overall migration program is of a magnitude, criticality, cost and exposure that requires an effective governance structure in order to ensure that all activities are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

    We provide leadership and guidance to the IT teams with scheduling, assigning tasks, delineating responsibilities and ensuring accountability across the program and on project-related deliverables and issues to ensure that all aspects of the build-out and migration project are properly addressed and coordinated throughout each phase of the project.
